Your ideas, class projects or research can contribute to sustainability at Elon, even after you’ve graduated.

These faculty scholars will be provided with relevant sustainability resources and pedagogies through a variety of unique opportunities such as speakers, workshops, field trips, and article or book discussions.

John Replogle, president and CEO of the household and personal care products company, will be speaking at Elon about the power of business leaders to drive positive change. 

The City of Burlington Water Resources Department will be hosting a clean up at Little Alamance Creek on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. - noon.

The 2016 Sustainable Campus Index is a publication of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and highlights innovative and high-impact initiatives from 124 colleges and universities that submitted a STARS report.

The university has been named repeatedly to the list by the environmental organization, which looks at sustainability practices, carbon footprints and recycling efforts. 

Elon University was honored for its comprehensive programs to promote environmental sustainabillity.

APPA, an organization of physical plant administrators, recognizes Elon with its 2016 Sustainability Award.

The national award recognizes Elon’s commitment to sustainability in its operations and its academic programs.
