The City of Burlington Water Resources Department will be hosting a clean up at Little Alamance Creek on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to noon. The City of Burlington invites all local service groups, youth groups, and residents to participate in a streamside cleanup of Little Alamance Creek and its tributaries.
This cleanup is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Burlington and the City of Burlington Water Resources Department. The event offers volunteers a chance to make a difference for the environment. Come out and join us as we remove trash, debris and other items from the stream to improve water quality. Volunteers should meet at 1102 S. Mebane St. in Burlington.
