Delivering Elon Law's fall 2015 Distinguished Leadership Lecture presented by The Joseph M. Bryan Foundation on Sept. 14, former two-term Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm encouraged future leaders to find their passion and commit themselves fully to it.

Elon Law’s Entrepreneurship Speaker Series kicked off on Sept. 10, welcoming entrepreneurs, law students and others to an event entitled “How to Choose the Best Business Structure for Your Company.” Speakers included Elon Law Professor John Flynn, attorney Greg Chabon and law student Gonzalo Ventura. 

Speaking Sept. 1 with first-year law students, three former Chief Justices of the North Carolina Supreme Court, all founding Elon Law advisory board members, shared insights on judicial process, professionalism and leadership. 

Elon Law’s new Entrepreneurship Speaker Series is designed to inform entrepreneurs about legal matters involved with creating startups and growing small businesses. The series will feature accomplished attorneys and law scholars on topics including business structures, finance, tax law and intellectual property. 

The latest edition of the Elon Law Review features scholarship on sports law and the evolving policies and regulations surrounding collegiate athletics. 

Elon Law’s Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series presented by The Joseph M. Bryan Foundation will feature two-term Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm, New York Times Supreme Court correspondent Adam Liptak and ESPN broadcaster and attorney Jay Bilas. 

Elon Law’s fifth annual Immigration Law Seminar featured nationally prominent lawyers, scholars and federal agency leaders exploring cutting-edge issues in immigration law. 

For all members of the Elon Law community preparing for the bar exam, this event is sponsored by Alumni & Development on Monday, June 15, 2015. 

Comprised of Elon University faculty across a range of departments and schools, including business, communications, computer science, law and political science, speakers will discuss their research and the law and policy concerns they encounter.

North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper delivered the Elon University School of Law commencement address on May 23 before 79 members of the Class of 2015.
