Elon Alumni

As attorneys for the North Carolina General Assembly, Luke Gillenwater L’11 and Jeremy Ray L’11 assisted state lawmakers this spring with bipartisan legislation aimed at countering the economic and public health damage caused by COVID-19.

This fall, students, faculty and staff are being provided with Elon masks. For a few more days, alumni, parents and families can join them in adding a custom Elon face covering to their mask rotations.

From September to November, virtual events will be held for alumni across the world to connect with their local Elon network

The Elon graduate and former news director of “Elon Local News” was part of a three-person crew conducting interviews and gathering footage of arriving first-year and transfer students.

The honor for Kernodle, a 1938 graduate who would go on to a successful medical career, was announced during the university's Opening Day ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

During the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication’s 2020 national convention – held virtually for the first time in 103 years – 13 School of Communications faculty members presented research, shared professional experiences and directed topical discussions.
