In his Martin Luther King Jr. Keynote Address to the Elon Law community, alumnus Dave Morrow '07 L'10 highlighted three attorneys whose legal work with the slain civil rights leader helped shape a nation in ways still felt today.

Graduates in Elon Law’s Class of 2019 were recognized Friday with school and professional honors for advocacy, legal writing and research, academic excellence, and excellence in service.

Elon University School of Law conferred 107 degrees in a Commencement ceremony on Saturday that featured an address by Chief Justice Cheri L. Beasley of the Supreme Court of North Carolina, who tasked the Class of 2019 with using the knowledge bestowed by a legal education to expand access to the justice system.

As the Class of 1969 celebrated its 50th reunion during Homecoming Weekend, its members also commemorated a special gift that started a long-standing tradition at Elon.

Three Elon Law alumni shared perspectives and practical advice with current students as part of a Hispanic Heritage Month panel conversation hosted in September by the Hispanic and Latinx Law Students Association and the Women's Law Association.

Elon Law helped support a Greensboro Bar Association springtime swearing-in ceremony for newly licensed attorneys, most of whom were December graduates of the law school’s 2.5-year program centered on learning by doing.
