Anatomical Gift Program

The High Point, N.C. FOX affiliate produced an extended segment on the program, launched in 2017, for its Buckley Report.

The Jan. 2 article provided an overview that the innovative program is having on the education of students in the School of Health Sciences. 

LIFE@Elon members toured the anatomy space in the Gerald Francis Center on Thursday, Nov. 16.

The event will focus on Elon University's Anatomical Gift Program and will be held in Asheboro, N.C.

Three area lawmakers toured the program’s facilities in the Gerald L. Francis Center and learned more about the role these future providers play in the health care industry.

Dianne Person, director of Elon University's Anatomical Gift Program, will present to Elon-Alamance Health Partner's staff on Wednesday, Aug. 23. 

The July 12 anatomy memorial service paid tribute to those men and women who donated their bodies to science. 

Elon University's Anatomical Gift Program director and graduate students from the Physician Assistant Studies Program in the School of Health Sciences will present.

Program Director Dianne Person will provide an educational session on anatomical donation for the residents at Heritage Greens Senior Living Community in Greensboro on June 5.

Nine of the program’s first donors made their commitments official during a ceremony on Friday, March 24.
