Interested in volunteering over Fall Break? Elon Volunteers is offering three different alternative break programs this October. Applications are available now. 

Registered voters in a September survey approved of state rules requiring photo identification at the ballot booth and overwhelmingly signaled that public school teachers are underpaid.

The first Elon University Poll of the fall semester found a majority of registered voters in North Carolina believe the nation and the state are both on the wrong track.

Shifts are open from Sept. 13-16 inside the Gray Pavilion in the Academic Village.

McKinnon Hall will be open from 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Wednesday for members of the campus community who wish to watch events leading up to and following President Barack Obama's address as part of the "Let Freedom Ring" commemoration.

Beginning in 2014, the John C. Culver Institute of Politics Scholarship will be awarded annually with full tuition toward a graduate degree at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Posters and presentations gave students involved in service-learning and the Civic Engagement Scholars program an opportunity to share details of their work.

The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions of invited experts on the dimensions of addressing American gun violence; the event will be streamed live.

The two Civic Engagement Scholars worked together to build a mentor program for children at a Burlington, N.C., elementary school.
