Elon faculty & students attended the Forced Migration Institute, presenting and participating in discussions on current refugee and immigrant policies

The Elon University graduate and his Yankees Productions colleagues earned a 2018 New York Emmy Award for their opening day hype video titled “We Work.” 

The media analytics and communication design major stretched her analytics skills this summer investigating the economic impact of NASA inventions.

“Drag Queen Storytime,” directed and produced by Emma Kopkowski ’20 and Tyler Litwin ’20, will be shown on Aug. 16 and 17 at The Carolina Theatre of Durham.

The senior sport management major, who plays on Elon’s women’s lacrosse team, is working as a ticket and fan services intern for the NFL franchise.

Kate Murphy ’15, a higher education reporter for The Cincinnati Enquirer, and her colleague spent nearly a year examining the many elements and perspectives surrounding the issue of sexual assault on college campuses. Their findings were published on Aug. 6 on the front page of USA Today and an extensive video series is available online at sextalk.usatoday.com.

The senior journalism and international & global studies major completed the interview as an intern with Diverse Issues in Higher Education.

The movie industry might seem vast, but for Paige Hullett ’16 and John Henry Ward ’17 it has gotten a little bit smaller as they have both been cast in Karen Maine’s “ Yes, God, Yes.”
