The journalism major and executive director of Elon News Network attended a four-day workshop at N.C. A&T State University, receiving hands-on experience and practical guidance from broadcast journalists.

The Elon University graduate and broadcast journalism major began her career as an intern at WFSB-TV in 1995.

With Gibson’s upcoming retirement, the School of Communications says goodbye to the university’s first full-time communications professor and a key figure in the development of the communications program.

Derek Lackaff, associate professor of communications and associate director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, was recently interviewed by the French publication La Croix about the limited catalog of video games available in minority languages. 

Led by Matt Cotton ’18, approximately 40 Elon students volunteered at the conference championship tournament held in Greensboro Feb. 28 through March 4.
