Assistant Professor Denise Hill and Adjunct Instructor Lorraine Ahearn received honorable mention awards in the 2017 Margaret A. Blanchard Doctoral Dissertation Prize competition.

Erin Barnett ’09 will be honored before a Nov. 9 screening of “Food Chains,” a 2014 documentary film she edited that highlights agricultural labor in the United States.

During a Nov. 1 lecture in Turner Theatre, award-winning photographer Daniella Zalcman, whose work is funded by the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, explained her path to long-form journalism and her ongoing coverage of marginalized communities across the globe.

The School of Communications professor was invited as one of the keynote speakers for the International Congress of Strategic Communication at the University of Medellin.

Mia Faith Chamberlain and Jordan Thompson ’14 led an Oct. 25 presentation titled “Play at the Next Level: A Career in Sport,” highlighting the benefits of a legal education in the sport industry.
