School of Communications

Max Herrera traveled home to San Mateo, Calif., for Elon University’s “Fake Break” this winter to volunteer on the sustainability team with the Super Bowl Host Committee.

Led by Nick Margherita’s first-place finish, several School of Communications students and graduates were recognized in the 2016 Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts. Their awards will be presented at the organization's annual conference April 17-20 in Las Vegas.

Bill Zint ’79, WSOE’s first manager, reflects on the student radio station’s 1977 launch and its mission to bring together the Elon community. 

The two-day event, attended by more than 100 students, professionals and scholars, was organized in partnership with the PRSSA chapter at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The "INTERNow Communications Internship/ePortfolio Expo” attracted more than 30 employers to meet with students seeking employment, internships and advice.
