Dr. Sandra Steingraber, author of the critically acclaimed "Living Downstream: An Ecologists’ Personal Investigation of Cancer and the Environment," visits the university on April 22 to share details and insights from her book.

Recipient of Elon University's 2013-14 Distinguished Scholar Award, Associate Professor Tom Mould - one of the nation's leading experts on folklore - will share insights into the way we tell stories about our lives during Tuesday evening's Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture in LaRose Digital Theatre.

Composed by Associate Professor Stephen A. Futrell in the Department of Music, a “celebratory verse” that originally debuted as part of the university’s Ever Elon fundraising campaign was formally recognized this spring as a permanent addition to the institution’s alma mater.

Beloved by generations of students and alumni who know him as “Dr. D,” the university’s president emeritus on April 2 will share stories and reflections of his seven decades at Elon and his hopes for its future. Tickets are now available at the Center for the Arts Box Office and are $13 each or free with an Elon ID.
