Foundation honors Elon faculty member with new award

Alyssa Martina, director of the Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, is the first recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation’s  Engaged Faculty & Staff Award, established this year to recognize “extraordinary engagement in Sullivan Foundation programming.”

Student-designed billboard shines in Times Square

Thanks to a cross-campus collaboration, School of Communications students Ian Myers ’23, Melanie Meisner ’23 and Elizabeth Daria ’23 designed a digital billboard for the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation and its charitable initiative, Journey for the Living.

Groundbreaking innovators, Nan-Wei Gong and Anirudh Sharma, are coming to speak at Elon University’s C. Ashton Newhall Lecture Series on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Both Nan-Wei and Anirudh have extensive experiences as MIT Lab scientists and founders of technologically progressive companies.
