Queens and Elon University are strengthening student opportunities through a merged academic calendar, a priority pathway for Queens undergrads to Elon Law, and participation in the first cohort of the Deliberative Citizenship Network.

Over 80 community members, alumni, students, faculty and staff attended the event.

The student government associations at both institutions will meet virtually for the first time on April 24, 2026, with conversations expected around campus cultures, traditions and opportunities to collaborate as the two universities prepare to merge. 

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business will host a hands-on skills session on May 6 in Charlotte focused on how no-code and low-code AI tools are changing how professionals approach data and decision-making.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business will host its inaugural Commercial Real Estate Summit in Charlotte on April 16–17, bringing together alumni and students for networking, industry insight and mentorship.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business MSBA Flex Program will host a Charlotte-based panel discussion on April 15 focused on how artificial intelligence is transforming analytics, organizational decision making and workforce needs.

Elon is growing its graduate program opportunities in Alamance County and in Charlotte in response to national trends and demand, including the expansion of its law, physician assistant and business analytics programs and a new degree in clinical mental health counseling.

In the same week that Queens University of Charlotte makes its historic debut in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, visits to both campuses by college counselors, and two trips to Elon by Queens administrators and staff, illustrated the continued collaboration between both institutions.

Faculty and staff from Elon University and Queens University of Charlotte convened on the Queens campus on Feb. 27, 2026, to continue merger integration and planning and to hear from four prominent Charlotte executives who shared stories of collaboration and anticipation of reinforced educational resources that will drive the region's future.
