The senior Religious Studies major studied black Muslim responses to racial injustice in the United States.

Senior Religious Studies and Anthropology double major Styrling Rohr conducted ethnographic research at a Sikh gurudwara, studying sacred music, Sikh-American identity, and multifaith relations.

Her presentation, which focused on the need to change how we talk about abortion in the United States, comes on the heels of a series of abortion bans that have been passed in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, and Ohio.

The grant supports a collaboration between the mathematics club at Williams High School in Burlington and Elon. 

Megan Squire, professor of computer science, was among those featured in the piece who are tracking domestic terrorism online.

Elon continues to build upon its reputation as a top producer of Fulbright award winners with members of the Class of 2019 who will be teaching in Mexico, the Czech Republic, South Korea and Malaysia through the prestigious program. 

The article is based on research that showed that consumption of a breakfast smoothie containing animal-based whey protein or plant-based soy protein both lead to a greater sense of fullness and an increase in calories burned when compared to a carbohydrate-based smoothie.
