Matt Oldham delivered a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 12th to generate the win for Elon in the CAA tournament. 

Among those volunteering with the Village project this semester — members of Elon's men's and women's basketball teams. 

The 5,100-seat, 160,000-square-foot facility will provide a premier gathering space for major campus events and serve as the new home for Elon's basketball and volleyball programs when it opens this year.

This is the second consecutive year that Elon's Jimmy Powell Tennis Center will be home to the conference championships, which take place April 19-22.

This year marks Elon’s second straight trip for the Elon women's basketball team to the Big Dance, as the Phoenix defeated Drexel, 57-45, on Saturday to earn the CAA’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
