Paxus Calta, former lead organizer for Friends of the Earth International, presents an interactive workshop on "Imaginative Activism: Creativity and Social Movements in an Era of Polarization." The event is at 5:30pm in Lindner Hall, Room 102

Jen Hamel, assistant professor of biology, presented on how biological community interactions affect mating behavior in insects.

Anna Baynes '18 turned to the Student Professional Development Center seeking help with a career path, with staff helping her explore work in sustainable agriculture. 

The award will support "Wildlife Studies: Critical Carnivores," a year-round learning experience that exposes secondary school students to the world of wildlife science through a focus on carnivorous mammals.

These faculty scholars will be provided with relevant sustainability resources and pedagogies through a variety of unique opportunities such as speakers, workshops, field trips, and article or book discussions.

The annual festival by the Elon University Garden Studio Class is now in its 8th year and will be held at the Elon Community Garden.

The honor is bestowed upon colleges with an exceptional commitment to sustainability based on their academic offerings and career preparation for students, campus policies, initiatives, and activities.

The university has been named repeatedly to the list by the environmental organization, which looks at sustainability practices, carbon footprints and recycling efforts.
