Graduate students in the DPT and Physician Assistant Studies programs met in January with Elon's chaplain to reflect on the lives of men and women who are now human donors in the university's anatomy lab.

Elon’s School of Health Sciences welcomed two new classes of graduate students to the university community this week.

On Monday, Jan. 6, the Department of Physical Therapy Education and the Department of Physican Assistant Studies welcome the DPT and PA Classes of 2016.

The program in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion signified the end of academic studies and the start of clinical education for members of the PA program's inaugural class.

Graduate students in Physician Assistant Studies heard Dec. 11, 2013, from several Elon University professors who shared best practices for making a difference in the world by assisting the disadvantaged.

Elon University leaders conferred degrees Sunday on 41 candidates in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in a Whitley Auditorium filled with family and friends of the new graduates.

Bill Andrews, PT, EdD, NCS, an associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy Education, has co-authored an article published in the latest issue of the Journal of Physical Therapy Science. 

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, Dr. Stephen Messier from Wake Forest University was invited to give a research talk for first year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students.
