Elon welcomes anyone considering law school or seeking information about Elon Law's admissions process to attend the Friday, November 22 Open House. The event, scheduled from 2:15 to 4:30 p.m., will give prospective students the opportunity to meet students, faculty, deans and staff; attend a mock law class; tour the facilities; and learn more about our admissions process.

Elon Law students, please join us on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at noon (Room 204) for the first speaker in this year’s Business Law Speaker Series. Rick Berry is the Senior Vice President and Director of Case Administration for the Financial Industries Regulation Authority (FINRA). FINRA protects investors by writing and enforcing rules and regulations that govern the activities of brokerage firms and brokers. FINRA also administers the largest forum specifically designed to resolve disputes between and among investors, securities firms, and individual brokers.  

Elon Law invites currently enlisted, active duty, reservists or veterans of the United States military to its Veterans Recruitment Day on Friday, November 8, 2:15pm-4:15pm at the law school.

An expert on property issues impacting poor and/or minority communities, University of Wisconsin Law School Professor Thomas W. Mitchell will deliver a speech at Elon Law, titled, "Leadership and Law Reform: Developing Model Statutes to Promote Social Justice." 

The Open House is scheduled for Friday, October 25 from 2:15 pm to 4:30 pm. Elon welcomes anyone considering law school or seeking more information about the law school admissions process to attend this event. 

The current chief scientist at Fusion-io will share his insights in Alumni Gym on Oct. 3, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. about the need to promote creativity and innovation in a technical environment. A Q&A in Whitley Auditorium takes place at 1:15 p.m.

Elon Law joins the American Bar Association in observance of National Pro Bono Celebration Week. The annual event, which runs from October 19-27, 2013, casts a national spotlight on pro bono efforts across the country. Many of Elon Law's events are highlighted below. 

The sixth annual Intramural Moot Court Competition at Elon University School of Law will take place on September 23, 26 and 30.
