Winter Term 2020 will offer students an array of exciting experiences that range from short-term, study-away programs to engaging student-led courses.

Sarah Holdren '18' takes a look at her most recent achievements and how they rooted in everything she learned through her work in the Kernodle Center office, since the fall of her freshman year at Elon.

Elon student-athletes participated in more than 1,000 hours of service in our community this fall with partners such as the Alamance Burlington School System, Elon’s GET (Girls to Empowered Teens) program and Christmas Cheer.

Elon University has had a long partnership with the Positive Attitude Youth Center, where Elon students can volunteer and help to enhance the education of elementary school students within the Alamance community. All of this started with Sandra Reid.

The award is presented annually by North Carolina Campus Compact to recognize a student leader at each school in the network for their commitment to community engagement.

The $4,000 Community Partnership Initiative Grant not only helped students at Eastlawn Elementary School in Burlington, North Carolina, expand their school's garden, but it also helped teach valuable lessons.

This partnership provides students with various opportunities to directly support those who have been impacted by domestic violence. Sometimes all it takes is one person to make a lasting impact on someone else's life.

A first-year English class and students from Alamance Community College shared their profiles with each other and attendees during the Nov. 12 event.

The competition brought together 16 colleges or universities to propose action to address food insecurity and promote deliberative problem-solving.

Advocates for coalition shared their stories about becoming homeless and how they overcame challenges associated with homelessness.
