A new BioBus route to help students volunteer at local agencies will begin operations at the start of the spring semester, with trips leaving campus every hour Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. to stops in Burlington near community partners that work with the Kernodle Center for Service Learning.

Students without cars on campus will find it much easier to volunteer this fall. The Kernodle Center for Service Learning is sponsoring Get on the Bus!, a weekly Friday afternoon service trip featuring transportation by Elon BioBus.

The Kernodle Center for Service Learning launched a new program Friday to help students explore volunteer opportunities available to them in Alamance County and surrounding areas. The “Get on the Bus” kick-off in the Moseley Center featured a ribbon cutting by Elon University President Leo M. Lambert.
