KCSL: Kopper Top Life Learning Center

Do you like to work with animals or miss your pets from home?

Are you looking for an opportunity to get off-campus and play?

Would you like to help children with disabilities?

Kopper Top Life Learning Center is a place where you can do all of this!  It’s a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding facility primarily, but there are many ways that you can help.

For example, you can help with lessons, working directly with children who have disabilities and the horses they ride.

Or, you can volunteer with pet-therapy, a program that takes the small animals (dogs, cats, and bunnies) to assisted-living facilities.

Or, you can be part of a fundraising/advertising/general PR kind of team.  This is something we’re in desparate need of!

Or, you could even work on finding and writing grants (great experience for English and Human Services majors!).

If anything you read sounds even vaguely interesting, please contact Jana Murdock at koppertop@elon.edu for more information!
