The school's Faculty Leadership Fellow shared with national leaders in engaged learning about Elon Law's Leadership Fellows Program and the way experiential education is integrated into the classroom.

Elon University School of Law’s associate dean for experiential learning and leadership took part in a panel discussion on leadership education at a symposium hosted by the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Elon Law has added five accomplished lawyers to its national advisory board, bringing insight from decades of experience in an array of law practice areas to advance the Law School’s groundbreaking approach to legal education. 

Elon Law's U.S. veterans, including students, faculty, staff and alumni, were recognized for their service at a Law School luncheon on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11. 

Elon University School of Law presented Leslie J. Winner, executive director of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, with the Law School’s highest professional honor, the Leadership in the Law Award, recognizing Winner’s significant contributions to law, the legal profession and society. Elon Law Dean Luke Bierman presented the award in Charlotte, N.C. at a luncheon forum attended by lawyer-leaders from across North Carolina.

Elon Law welcomed 13 new Leadership Fellows and recognized the professional accomplishments of 14 returning fellows at a Sept. 2 evening reception.

Speaking Sept. 1 with first-year law students, three former Chief Justices of the North Carolina Supreme Court, all founding Elon Law advisory board members, shared insights on judicial process, professionalism and leadership. 

Elon Law’s Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series presented by The Joseph M. Bryan Foundation will feature two-term Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm, New York Times Supreme Court correspondent Adam Liptak and ESPN broadcaster and attorney Jay Bilas. 

Speakers at Elon Law’s seventh annual Martin Luther King Jr. forum encouraged lawyers and law students to stand tall in their actions to address civil and political rights both in law school and in their legal careers.

Law students working on legal recommendations to transform how condemned and vacant homes are revitalized were featured Jan. 6 on WGHP Fox 8 News.
