More than 30 students, alumni and staff gathered March 11 for Elon’s second annual LGBTQIA career panel.

Three outstanding members of the Elon community were honored with the LGBTQIA Community Enrichment Awards during an event Nov. 10 in McKinnon Hall.

The LGBTQIA Alumni Network will honor three outstanding members of the Elon community with the LGBTQIA Community Enrichment Awards at a Homecoming event on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Tatum Robinson has spent the last 11 years dreaming big and working hard. In 2006, she realized her vision of opening her own physical therapy practice, and today some of her most rewarding work is helping seeing patients with spinal cord injuries regain functionality.

Ben Poole returned to Elon’s campus last fall ready to create a culture of activism and mutual accountability after attending Campus Pride’s Pride Camp, a summer leadership program for LGBTQIA college students.

 

Lavender Graduation is a ceremony held by Elon's LGBTQ Coordinator to congratulate and celebrate LGBTQIA undergraduate seniors and graduate students who graduated in December 2012 or will graduate in May 2013.

 

The Elon LGBTQIA Alumni Network is partnering with Guilford Green Foundation to help them host their Green Queen Bingo event.

In between the cheers of the crowd at Rhodes Stadium and the traditional Homecoming experiences at Elon, alumni had the opportunity to celebrate Elon's LGBTQIA network.
