New Student & Transition Programs

The first-year summer experience program offered by the Office of New Student and Transition Programs familiarizes incoming students with Elon's campus and helps them develop outdoor and team-building skills before classes begin in the fall.

A one-credit course gives students an opportunity to reflect on their lives and craft plans for the future.

The page was developed to support a growing population of transfer students on Elon University's campus.

New students affirmed their commitment on Thursday morning to the virtues of honesty, integrity, responsibility and respect in the university’s eighth annual Call to Honor program.

Instructional and Campus Technologies held its 6th annual Connected@Elon event on Aug. 26 during New Student Orientation.

Privilege.  Identity.  Social Justice.  The journey begins with you.  Through interactive activities and focused discussions, participants will learn how their identities influence all they do and how to use this knowledge to become agents of change on campus and in our world. “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere!” This event is free for all students, faculty, and staff and is part of the New Student Orientation activities this week.

From new dorms to additional dining options, Elon students will find a host of enhancements and expansions when they return to campus this fall.

Several events are planned throughout the weekend of Aug. 23-26 as Elon University welcomes students and families in the Class of 2017.

For the past two years, the Elon University community has donated thousands of needed school supplies to children classified as homeless.
