"Chroma," Elon University’s Spring Dance Concert, explores the theme of intense, pure, or saturated color by showcasing six original dances that delve into chroma by means of stage lighting, movement, music, rebellion and societal metaphors. 

The honorees, young alumni who have achieved major professional success, serve as difference-makers in their communities and loyally support Elon as partners, advocates and investors, will be recognized April 13.

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where the shooting left 17 dead, played a role in Thursday's events, which focused on remembering those who died and pushing for an end to gun violence.

The department's winter production runs Thursday through Saturday, with performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in McCrary Theatre.
