Assistant Professor Matt Pardo was selected as a 2017 artist for the North Carolina Dance Festival and will be performing his solo "I Insist" in Greensboro on Nov. 11 at the Van Dyke Performance Space.

Artemis Preeshl, visiting assistant professor of performing arts, has been awarded a doctorate of education from Union Institute and University.

Backstage noted the breadth of instruction and support that musical theatre students at Elon receive in highlighting the program. 

Preeshl, assistant professor of performing arts, directed "Ripe Figs," a reconstruction-era film that premiered Oct. 15 as an official entry in the festival's Louisiana Shorts category. 

A Chinese television program took notice of the talent Kevin Lacey '21 and the other three members of the a capella group The 4 Tones, and brought them on air to sing — in Mandarin. 

Four professors will work on projects that explore partnerships between students and faculty through dance technique, investigating the effects of learning with nature as a source, and experimenting with different teaching methods in the same course.

Dietz attended the opening night of "American La Ronde" and taught playwriting masterclass.
