The Greensboro Aquatic Center held a U.S. Masters Swim Camp and partnered with Elon's Associate Professor of Physical Therapy Education Daryl Lawson and third-year student Laura Wilson to screen swimmers prior to camp. 

The assistant professor of Physical Therapy Education's presentation was called "Effects of Different Perturbation Levels During Fall Risk Assessment for Older Adults at Higher Fall Risk." 

Graduate students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program are examining the impact of HIIT on body weight an fitness in college-aged women.

Bill Andrews, associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy Education, is the 1st author of an article published ahead of print in Physical Therapy. 

For the last two weeks Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy first and third-year students worked with Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy Education Paula DiBiasio to help local children get active. 

Third-year Elon DPT students presented their research at the 2015 APTA NEXT Conference and Exposition held in National Harbor, Maryland.

Three second-year Elon DPT students and two faculty members recently presented research at the 2015 ACSM conference held in San Diego.

An Alamance County elementary school student has volunteered over the past year to help students in Elon University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and WGHP Fox 8 recently shared how that young girl is making a difference of her own in the lives of others.

The 2nd annual Elon BrainCARE Symposium will be held on May 8, 2015, in  Lakeside Meeting Room 212.
