Four members in the School of Education attended the Common Indicators System Network Inquiry Institute virtually August 3-6, 2020.

Ann Bullock, dean and professor in the school of education, served as a moderator for the North Carolina Chamber Education and Workforce Conference, held virtually on Aug. 13, 2020.

These four awards recognize members of the Elon community for excellence in teaching, scholarship, civic engagement and mentoring.

In a special video, the university recognized those members of the faculty and staff who have served for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years at the university.

Vice President and Associate Provost for Inclusive Excellence Randy Williams delivered the commencement address, urging the new graduates to use their new "cardinal credential" to increase access to quality education.

The online site serves as a platform for students to share about their undergraduate research and what the experience has meant to them.

This year the FLEX Program offered academically gifted students from the Alamance Burlington School System the opportunity to learn fresh, engaging lessons virtually from M.Ed. and gifted licensure candidates.

This summer, the university’s innovative E Company program leveraged the time and talents of Elon students to meet the needs of local K-12 students as well as to assist with preparations for fall semester.

Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, Scott Morrison, associate professor of education, Madeline Craft, Elementary Education '20, and Michalene Lee, Middle Grades Education '20, published the article in the peer-reviewed journal Teaching and Teacher Education.

Faculty in the School of Education demonstrated excellent tech tools to help engage students and enhance teaching in the fall via WebEx on Tuesday, July 28.
