On Oct. 11, the School of Education held a casual recruitment event at College Coffee complete with apples from the teachers!  

The annual conference, which is a scholarly venue to disseminate new knowledge on service-learning and community engagement, was held Sept. 26-28 in New Orleans.

Assistant Professor of Education Scott Morrison and Associate Professor of Education Jeffrey Carpenter presented at the N.C. Association of Colleges of Teacher Education Fall Forum in Raleigh on Sept. 22.

The associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program co-authored the article in the journal Teaching and Teacher Education.

The group presented at the N.C. Associationfor the Education of Young Children (NCaeyc) Annual Conference in Raleigh on Sept. 16, 2016.

Mary Knight-McKenna, associate professor of education, and Heidi Hollingsworth, assistant professor of education, co-authored an article on fostering family-teacher partnerships in early childhood education.

Supporters and participants in the Elon Academy celebrated the 10th anniversary of the college access and success program on Thursday, Sept. 15.
