The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program was involved in four different presentations at the SITE Annual Conference in Savannah, Georgia from March 22-25, 2016.

A pilot project led by faculty members Martin Kamela and Dave Gammon brought Alamance County elementary and middle school students to campus for four days of science and math activities while Elon University students traveled away for spring break.

Assistant professor of education publishes article in the peer-reviewed journal Social Studies and the Young Learner.  

Heidi Hollingsworth, Mary Knight-McKenna and Ren Bryan, co-authored an article on policy and advocacy content in early childhood personnel preparation.

The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program co-authored the article in the journal Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education.

Dr. Carol Smith, Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance receives Honor Award for her meritorius contributions to the fields of physical education, health education, recreation and dance.
