Elon announced in December that Jon Dooley has been selected to follow G. Smith Jackson, who will retire at the end of this academic year after more than 23 years of service. 

Due to the impact from heavy snowfall in the area this weekend, Elon University's main campus will have a delayed start on Tuesday. 

Elon’s current assistant vice president and dean of campus life has been selected to lead the student life division beginning on June 1, 2017.

More than a dozen community organizations will gather at Elon University for the countywide 2016 World AIDS Day event.

The third annual Residential College Symposium marked the launch of the new group, with contributions from several Elon faculty and staff. 

A pair of communications faculty members and a senior discussed the Elon News Network, which was recognized with several awards at the College Media Association gathering.

Two alumni and a student also lead sessions at the conference, which was held Oct. 20-23 in Washington, D.C.

The Office of Student Health and Wellness is looking for two student volunteers to serve on the  advisory board for the R.N. Ellington Center for Health and Wellness for the 2016-17 academic year.

A gathering and march was organized by Elon's Black Student Union in response to the shooting deaths of two men in Tulsa and Charlotte during the past week.
