Elon Law student Angelique Ryan has been named one of the country’s 25 law students of the year by National Jurist magazine. 

The former president made a campaign visit to Greensboro, North Carolina, on Monday as he stumped for his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is vying for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 race for the White House.

The first African American to serve on the Supreme Court of North Carolina will visit campus on May 20 to address graduating students and their families.

Elon Law student Gerard Truesdale is featured in the American Bar Association’s Student Lawyer magazine for creating and operating a nonprofit that provides high school students with life skills and pathways to higher education. 

Elon Law recognized the achievements of thirteen students who completed the Law School’s academic requirements for graduation in the fall 2015 semester.

Fifty-six Elon Law students participated in the Innocence Project this semester, reviewing credible claims of innocence by individuals convicted of crimes in North Carolina.
