Elon University students and alumni will find it even easier to connect and take advantage of resources offered by Career Services on a newly redesigned web site that launched Thursday. The new site will help students, parents, and alumni more easily stay up-to-date with the 125+ on-campus programs, workshops, and other events offered each year by Career Services.

Thirty experiential education practitioners gathered on the Elon campus July 30 to focus on best practices and legal issues in experiential education with the workshop 21st Century Experiential Learning: Examining Best Practices & Managing the Risks.

The Love School of Business and Elon Career Services are co-hosting a recruiting event for employers on Friday, August 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Koury Business Center. Representatives from regional firms will tour the campus and the Koury Business Center, meet faculty and staff, and learn more about the benefits of forming recruiting partnerships with Elon University and the Love School of Business. A new program to help Elon students make smart job search decisions based on geographical preference, all while connecting them with alumni and other professionals, was recently cited as a best practices model at the National Association of Colleges and Employers annual conference in Las Vegas.

Three Elon undergraduate students and two Elon law students have been selected for 10-week summer internships with various North Carolina state agencies. The N.C. State Government Internship Program, in its 39th year, is coordinated by the Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office in the Department of Administration.
