Students in an Elon Core Curriculum capstone course led by faculty members in the Martha & Spencer Love School of Business and Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences, spent eight days in Peru sharing with farmers ideas to improve their land while growing their revenues.

During on-campus presentations, graduate students in the Interactive Media master's program on Jan. 27 discussed their work from their travels in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Barbados and the Dominican Republic.

As more Elon students than ever before traveled overseas this fall for global experiences, a new report from the Institute of International Education shows the university maintaining its top placement in an annual ranking for the number of undergraduates who study abroad.

More than $80,000 was awarded in scholarship assistance this fall as hundreds of Elon University students participate in semester study abroad programs that have seen strong growth in recent years.
