The men's and women's soccer teams are participating in global experiences during Spring Break as part of Elon's commitment to offering student-athletes the opportunity to be globally engaged. 

The team's juniors are spending spring break in the Central American country for a third consecutive year, participating in a program that combines travel with learning about conservation and ecotourism.

Former study abroad students from across North Carolina share their experiences throughout the School of Communications, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The Global Engagement Program allows select staff members to join students on their study abroad courses and interact with them more closely than they often do on campus.

Through historical site visits and company tours, students grasp the inherent ties between business and culture. 

A group of Elon business students spent a semester in China, taking business courses and completing an internship.

During Assistant Professor David Bockino’s Through the Lens of ESPN class, students enjoyed a staggering media tour, visiting ESPN, Fox Sports, SNY, MLB.com and the New York Yankees, as well as sports outlets and athletic venues in Bueno Aires.

Nearly 1,000 students, faculty and staff are participating this month in 31 programs around the globe.

Four Elon students received the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, a Department of State grant dedicated to funding opportunities for underrepresented students to study in underrepresented locations.

 

The annual ranking by the Institute of International Education again names Elon University the nation’s top master’s level institution in the number of students studying abroad.
