The keynote address for the "Religious Body Reimagined" symposium will be given by S. Brent Plate and sponsored by the Elon Center for the Study of Religion, Culture and Society. 

Brodt will share his story of resilience and survival at the LaRose Theatre on Wednesday, Feb. 13. 

Eid al Fitr is a festival of thanksgiving for enjoying the month of Ramadan. It involves wearing the finest clothing, saying prayers, and fostering understanding with other religions.

Winter Term 2019 will offer students a broad array of opportunities to explore these themes throughout the next month.

Service opportunities, gatherings and other special programs at Elon during January will commemorate the life and work of the late civil rights leader. 

The Elon community gathered Dec. 6 in front of Alamance Building to celebrate the start of this festive season with a display of luminarias honoring alumni and senior class donors. 

Elon’s multi-faith community gathered Nov. 2 in the Sacred Space to stand against hate and show their support for the Jewish community.

The Elon community is invited to the Sacred Space at 4 p.m. on Friday to bless Shabbat and remember those killed Oct. 27 in the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. 

Join us in the McBride Gathering Space, Numen Lumen Pavilion, on March 5, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. for a pancake supper and discussion of Lenten practices in diverse Christian traditions. All are welcome!
