Exhibition description:
A juried annual exhibition that celebrates printmaking in its many derivations. All forms of traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques will be considered. Best of Show Purchase award: $500.00 and solo exhibition during the 2012-13 academic year.
The exhibition runs from February 6st, 2012 through April 6th, 2012.
Calendar:
January 4th: All submissions due- a cd/dvd with a maximum of 3 jpeg images and    documentation of artist, title, and medium. No emailed submissions.
January 11th: Artists notified of acceptance via email.
January 25th: All works received (late works, or works not ready to be hung cannot    be included in exhibition).
February 6th: Opening Reception- 5:30-7:00pm Isabella Cannon Gallery
April 6th: Closing of exhibition
Fees:
A non-refundable check or money order of $15.00 should be made out to Elon University for consideration of proposal materials. 
Prospectus of Eligibility: Requirements & Standards:
1. Original Works:  All entries must be original by living artists 18 years old or older.
2. Works Quantity Limit:  Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 works to be considered.
3. All traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques will be considered.

Show Standards:
1. Each entry must be ready to hang, behind glass, with either a wire or single point hardware (such as a single screw eye or a “D” ring on the back). Prints that cannot be behind glass or acrylic will not be considered. 
2. Elon reserves the right to photograph all works for publicity purposes.
3. Elon will not handle sales, but will refer interested party to the appropriate artist.
Entry procedure:
Send jpegs on a CD/DVD of up to three submissions, along with appropriate information about each image (title, medium, size).  Include artist statement.  Include a check of $15 paid to the order of Elon University.  Materials will not be returned unless a SASE is included.
Mailing Instructions:
Accepted entries must be received by January 4th.  Please mail to: Current Trends in Print, Michael Fels, 2810 CB Art Department, Elon University, Elon, NC 27244.

Each accepted piece of art must come with appropriate (typed) label information attached to the back (Artist, title, medium, insurance price, and contact information) (please see label information at the bottom of prospectus)

Return service will only be provided for artists who provide a box or envelope that conforms to postal requirements. USPS or Federal Express may be used.  Return shipping labels and prepaid postage labels (no stamps) must be included for return of the work.   No money orders or checks please.

Responsibility:
Isabella Cannon Gallery is an insured, secure gallery, and will be responsible for your work during the dates of the exhibition. 

While Elon University will exercise the utmost care in handling your objects, we will not be responsible for lost or damaged work through the shipping process.

Agreement:
Sending an entry to this exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
