The Centre is home to Elon's nationally-recognized study abroad program. Elon is #1 in the country among master's-level institutions for the number of students who study abroad—71 percent of Elon's 2008 graduating seniors studied abroad at least once before graduation.
Elon was one of four institutions to receive the prestigious 2007 Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization from NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
The Centre is also a valuable resource for international students, who come to Elon from more than 50 countries. Celebrating and recognizing cultural differences is a valuable part of the shared Elon experience.
