The Office of Alumni Relations is hosting a farewell picnic for all graduating members of the senior class and Elon faculty and staff.
Senior Gala, Moseley Center, 9:00 p.m. – midnight.
Graduating members of the Class of 2008 are invited to enjoy an evening of music, dance and celebration as you look back through your years at Elon. Event tickets will be available for pick-up at Johnston Hall Alumni Center in early May. Admission for graduating seniors is free. Guest tickets are $10. Semi-formal attire requested.

families at a continental breakfast around Fonville Fountain.
Graduates assemble in Jordan Gym, 8:15
a.m.
Graduating students must be in Jordan Gym promptly at 8:15
a.m. in caps and gowns. Your presence is required. If
you are late or improperly attired, you will not be permitted
to participate in the Commencement Exercises.
Faculty and staff will organize the line of march. Dean
George Troxler will send you detailed instructions regarding
your part in the commencement program.
Commencement Under the Oaks, 9:30 a.m.
Douglas Finberg, senior vice president of international marketing for Paramount Pictures and a 1994 Elon alumnus, will deliver the commencement address.
After graduation, there will be a reception hosted by
academic departments on Scott Plaza. Reception locations will
be posted in the pocket guide that is sent in late April to
graduates and their parents.
Rain location for Commencement is Alumni Gym in Koury
Center.
Tickets are not required for Commencement Under the Oaks.
You are welcome to bring as many people as you wish. However,
families may not reserve their seats until 7:00 a.m. on
Saturday. This gives our staff time to reserve seats for
graduates and faculty members, as well as time to clean and
dry off the chairs for your convenience.
