After Hours and Weekend Care
Students experiencing emergency medical situations should contact 911. Students with acute, non-emergency medical conditions which require evening or weekend medical care may seek treatment at the following locations: * Alamance Regional Medical Center Emergency Room, 1240 Huffman Mill Road,
* Nextcare Urgent Care, 1713 S. Church Street, Burlington, 222-8888 (walk-in clinic)
* Burlington Urgent Care, 1225 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington, 586-0060 (walk-in clinic)
Nextcare Urgent Care and Burlington Urgent Care are available only when R.N. Ellington Health & Counseling Center is closed. Take your Phoenix card and insurance card with you. Students are responsible for all costs incurred. However, students will be billed for all costs not covered by their insurance at a later date through the university's billing system. Students using these facilities during R.N. Ellington's operating hours will be responsible for all costs at the time of service. *Greensboro Law Students: Urgent Medical & Family Care, 102 Pomona Drive, Greensboro, NC * Emergency Dental Services Transportation to medical appointments off campus Students are responsible for all costs incurred.
