Each fall semester, the Multicultural Center invites all
faculty and staff to attend a reception to welcome new
faculty and staff of varying ethnic and racial backgrounds,
and sexual orientations. This event celebrates their
contributions to the Elon community and supports Elon's
abiding commitment to sustain a campus climate where
differences are embraced and each member feels respected and
valued as a unique individual.
Several times throughout the year, the Multicultural Center
host events for multicultural faculty and staff to come
together and discuss a particular book or article over lunch.
This is an opportunity for the community to come
together and exchange in open dialogue about multicultural
issues.
