Federal Aviation Administration
Internship: The Washington Center would
like to announce a special summer internship
program that could provide students from Elon University
with substantial financial assistance by means
of federally-funded placements with the Federal
Aviation Administration. Selected
undergraduate students from your institution have the
opportunity to intern during summer 2008 with the FAA.
Students of diverse backgrounds are strongly
encouraged to apply for this internship
opportunity. Students from selected majors
are desired, including business, computer science,
statistics, aviation, engineering and other related
majors. Applicants must be U.S.
citizens and able to receive a favorable background
investigation. Students who are accepted into the
FAA program will receive funding covering the
cost of Washington Center program and housing fees, plus

Minority Internships: The Mint
Museum in Charlotte is pleased to announce an internship
program for current college undergraduate minority students
for this summer 2008. The internship offers students
with a career interest in art museums a opportunity to
learn about museum operations from the inside and gain
valuable professional experience. The internship will
be scheduled from May 12 - August 8, 2008. The hired
intern will be paid $2,200. Applicants must be in at
least their second year of college to apply. African
American, Asian American, Latin American, Native American
and other minority candidates are especially encouraged to
apply. The internship is open only to U.S. citizens.
