Located in the Multicultural Center, the African American
Resource Room serves as a study area, gathering place,
meeting facility and historical archive for the African
American Wall of Fame. The resource room provides a healthy
and integrated setting for faculty, staff and students from
all backgrounds to explore and develop appreciation for
cultural diversity. All students, faculty, staff and visitors
are invited to visit the African American Resource Room.
The Wall
of Fame is the centerpiece of Elon's African American
Resource Room. The exhibit traces the accomplishments of
African Americans at the university, from the first black
graduate to the first black Greek organization. The creation
of the Wall of Fame provides an opportunity to educate
students, faculty and staff about the major achievements of
African American alumni, students and organizations that
foster African American cultural at Elon University.
