Elon students periodically attend services and events at North Carolina Hillel in Chapel Hill. In December 2008, 9 Elon students joined Geoff Brown, Director of Statewide Programs for NC-Hillel, on the Taglit Israel Birthright free 10-day trip to Israel. Elon Hillel works closely with North Carolina Hillel and Hillel International. In 2005, Elon Hillel was chosen to participate in Hillel International's Soref Advancement program for "Small and Mighty" Hillel's and received a $5000 grant as part of the program. Nancy Luberoff, the Campus Hillel Director, is an active participant in Hillel International conferences and training opportunities.
