Peer Mentors (formerly known as Engagement Interns)
Hillel understands that students relate best to other students. Our peer mentors reach out to new students on campus, get to know them, find Hillel programming that will meet their needs and together, help create a vibrant, relevant Jewish experience on our campus.
2022-23 Peer Mentors
Hillel’s Peer Mentors are student leaders who reach out to new students, build relationships with and among Jewish students at Elon, plan programs and events, and help create a vibrant, meaningful, fun Jewish experience on Elon’s campus.
Through meaningful peer-to-peer engagement, including coffee conversations, specific events for first year students, and other meetings, the mentors connect with all new students on campus and welcome them to our community.
Meet Tyler Singer, Kylie Cantos, Julia Morrissey, Sydney Abeshaus, Jesse Riback and Paige Friedlander.
Please feel free to contact our interns with ANY questions about Elon or Jewish life on campus. If you are a first year or transfer student who has not been assigned a Peer Mentor, please reach out to Director of Jewish Life Betsy Polk.
The Elon Hillel Engagement Internship is funded by the generosity of the Bernstein Kronovet Family Elon Experience Internship, the Dick/Schulman Hillel Engagement Intern Scholarship, and Hillel International.
