A welcoming university for Jewish students, Jewish life at Elon University is both vibrant and growing. Hillel at Elon helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world) and Jewish learning.

5-10 students/year participating in Taglit-Birthright, free 10-day trip to Israel.
Recognized by Hillel International as an emerging campus for growing Jewish life, with participation in The Soref Advancement program ($5,000 grant and Soref Advancement workshops).
Integrated with North Carolina Hillel, the parent Hillel advancing Jewish life on 25 campuses throughout North Carolina.
Student Rashi leadership intern each year through North Carolina Hillel.

Elon Hillel now serves as an active and collaborative force on campus producing major campus events including Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Campus Hanukkah Party, our new Sukkah, Purim, Family Weekend Shabbat events, Passover Seder, monthly bagel brunches, Shabbat dinners, Hillel BBQ and much more.
