What's happening?
Congratulations to Pam Kiser, Kernodle Center Faculty Development Fellow! The Carnegie Committee for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning has awarded Elon's fourth “Project Interweave” grant to Pam Kiser, Chair/Professor, Human Services and Dr. Cynthia Fair, Assistant Professor, Human Services for their project, “The Impact of Varied Reflection Approaches on Student Outcomes in Introduction to Human Services Service-Learning Projects.” The research team will also include Dr. Scott Glass, Assistant Professor, Human Services, and three to five students. The team has been awarded $10,000 over a two-year period to design, implement and publicize this project.

Volunteers are always needed for programs such as One-to-One (tutoring), Mis Amigos (teaching English to Spanish-speaking children), Safe Rides (operates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights) and more!
