Alumni of the downtown Greensboro law school can register now for events from June 1-2 that include a CLE at the law school, an awards program to celebrate alumni professional achievement, and a luncheon for the Class of 2013 as it marks its five-year reunion.
Elon Law’s faculty and staff will welcome alumni back to campus the first weekend of June with a series of programs to support professional development and career networking while celebrating alumni success.
Reunion Weekend 2018 programs include a free CLE for Elon Law alumni, tailgating prior to a Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball game, a five-year reunion luncheon, and an evening awards program at a local restaurant.
RSVPs are required for all events. Register here no later than May 29 to be a part of the weekend or to nominate an alum for one of four school awards.

Free CLE for Elon Law alumni: “Emerging Ethics: Regulating the 2.0 Frontier”
Presented by Warren Savage, Claims Attorney at Lawyers Mutual
2:30-3:30 p.m. at Elon Law
Join us for a 1-hour ethics CLE. New technology and digital communication are pushing the limits of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Can we apply the rules designed for old school law practice to the internet, email, blogging and social media?
In this presentation, we will discuss:
• How ethics opinions are issued from the NC State Bar
• New and pending NC State Bar ethics opinions
• Update on ethics opinions about social media and online legal service platforms
Alumni + Student Networking Tailgate on the “E-Lawn”
5:30-7 p.m. on the “E-Lawn” at the corner of Bellemeade Avenue and Commerce streets
