Noyce Scholars and faculty attend NSF Robert Noyce Conference

Two Mathematics Noyce Scholars – Maddy Rooney ’14 and Jaime Morin ’15 – attended the 8th annual NSF Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program Conference in Washington, D.C., from May 29-31 with Assistant Professor Jeff Carpenter, director of Secondary Education in the School of Education, and Associate Professor Janice Richardson in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

In addition, Morin participated in the poster session and shared her internship experiences with the Elon Academy, and Carpenter presented a session on “How and why STEM Educators Need to be Using Twitter.”
